Disclosures

Transparency is not optional for us. Here is a plain-language account of our editorial independence, our use of AI tools, our affiliate and sponsorship policies, and how we handle conflicts of interest.

01
Editorial Independence

The Peptide Current is editorially independent. No advertiser, sponsor, investor, or external party has any influence over what we cover, how we cover it, or what conclusions we reach. Our editorial decisions are made exclusively by our editorial team.

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. We do not participate in pay-to-play journalism. No source pays to be quoted; no company pays to be mentioned favorably; no institution pays to be treated gently. If a company or individual we cover is also an advertiser or sponsor, that relationship is disclosed in the relevant issue and does not affect our coverage.

PepCurrent has no financial relationships with any pharmaceutical company, peptide manufacturer, compounding pharmacy, clinic, or retail supplier. We will update this disclosure immediately if that changes.

02
AI Disclosure

We use artificial intelligence tools — including large language models — in our research and writing process. Specifically, we use AI tools to assist with literature search, summarization of source material, initial drafting, and copyediting. Our full step-by-step verification pipeline is published in our editorial policy.

What AI does in our process: AI tools help us find relevant studies, organize research notes, draft initial prose, and check for gaps in our coverage. They accelerate work that would otherwise take significantly longer.

How AI is used: One AI system may monitor sources, organize evidence, and prepare a draft. A separate AI system rechecks factual claims against the cited primary record before publication. Publication itself is a separate manual action and is never automatic. PepCurrent does not describe the second-system check as human review. Factual claims are logged in a public, per-issue verification log, not summarized as "available on request."

This policy was in effect as of our first issue.

03
Affiliate & Commercial Relationships

The Peptide Current has no affiliate marketing relationships, and never will with any peptide vendor, compounding pharmacy, or supplement seller — that line does not move. We do not earn commissions from product sales, referrals, or clicks. We do not link to products with affiliate tracking codes. The FDA warning letters and enforcement actions we report on link only to the FDA's own public pages, never to the vendors named.

If we ever establish other affiliate relationships (outside the peptide/supplement/compounding space), we will disclose them clearly and conspicuously near the claim itself — not buried in a footnote — and update this page.

04
Sponsorship & Advertising

Advertising, sponsorships, affiliates, paid subscriptions, and product placements are paused during the free public beta. PepCurrent is not soliciting or accepting them.

PepCurrent will not accept money from peptide vendors, compounding pharmacies, clinics, telehealth companies, laboratories, or supplement companies whose products or claims fall within our coverage. Any future revenue program would require an updated public policy and conflict review before it begins.

Current sponsors and affiliates: none, as of July 17, 2026.

05
Conflicts of Interest

Members of our editorial team are required to disclose any financial relationship with entities covered in The Peptide Current. Relevant disclosures will appear in the affected issue or on this page.

Current disclosures: none, as of August 2, 2026.

06
Comments & User-Generated Content

We do not currently offer comments or any other user-generated content on the site. If we add comments in the future, our stated policy — in effect before comments ever launch — will be: pre-moderation, a clear conduct policy, and no medical claims allowed from commenters. See our editorial policy for the full statement.
